How EmberGrids collects, uses, retains and protects personal information.
Status and controller details
This is a publication-ready operational draft pending confirmation of the registered controller name, registered address and applicable governing jurisdiction. Those facts are launch blockers and must be approved before final publication.

Information we collect
We collect information you provide through project inquiries, founder submissions, Drive collaborations, careers introductions, newsletter forms and privacy requests. This may include contact details, organization, project context, timing, budget range, submitted links, consent records and correspondence.
We also receive limited technical data needed to secure and operate the service, such as timestamps, user agent, referrer, source page and campaign parameters. Raw IP addresses must not be retained indefinitely.
Sources and purposes
Information comes directly from you, from your browser when you use the site, and from service providers that deliver hosting, email, abuse prevention or analytics after consent. We use it to respond, assess fit, deliver requested communications, secure the service, maintain records and meet legal obligations.
Lawful bases
Where applicable, processing relies on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent for optional communications or cookies, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Recipients and international transfers
Authorized EmberGrids personnel and vetted processors may receive the minimum information needed for hosting, database, email, security, support and approved analytics. Production deployment must record the actual processors and transfer safeguards before launch. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Inquiry and submission records are retained only as long as needed to respond, manage a relationship, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Newsletter suppression records are kept minimally so an unsubscribe remains effective. Careers and venture submissions require a documented retention period in production settings.
Security
Controls include restricted access, role-based administration, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit, secure cookies, audit history, validation, rate limits, backups and incident procedures. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the relevant regulator. Submit a request at /privacy-request or email privacy@embergrids.com. Identity verification may be required.
Children, links and updates
The service is not directed to children and EmberGrids does not knowingly solicit their personal information. Third-party sites operate under their own notices. Material policy changes will be dated and communicated where required.
